Who we are

A studio built to finish things

Octopulse is a group of designers, engineers and strategists in Lisbon. The same people who design your product also ship it.

Our story

We started because good work kept dying in the pitch deck

Octopulse began with a complaint. Agencies were winning pitches with beautiful concept work, handing the build to whoever quoted cheapest, and shipping something that bore little resemblance to what the client bought.

So we put the designers and the engineers on one team with one deadline. Eight arms, one nervous system: design, code, marketing and SEO moving together instead of throwing work over a wall.

Today we work with startups and established companies across Europe and beyond, on products that have to earn their keep after launch.

Our mission

Give ambitious companies the craft of a design studio and the discipline of an engineering team, under one contract.

Our vision

A web worth using. Every product we touch should be one people come back to without being nagged.

What drives us

Six things we argue about

Craft obsessed

We sweat the easing curve, the contrast ratio and the millisecond. Those are the parts people feel without naming.

Honest with data

Numbers settle arguments here. A change that moves no metric comes back out.

Partner first

Your goal is the brief. We do not count a project as a win until it works for your business.

Curious

New tools, new tactics, new formats. We test them on our own work before they go anywhere near yours.

Transparent

Open boards, clear pricing, timelines we stand behind. Ask about any line item and you get an answer.

Fast, with care

We move fast. Nothing ships that we would not put on our own site.
